Landscape Architecture
Planning + Design

Poplar Land Practice is a landscape architecture studio based in Anchorage, Alaska.

Why Poplar?

Poplar, the genus that includes aspen and cottonwood trees, comes from the Latin word Populus, sharing its meaning with "the people." While some poplars are messy, they are working trees: resilient, riparian, pioneer species.Poplars do work for the land and for people.Poplar Land Practice follows that ethos. Purposeful planning and design in service to communities, organizations, the land, and people.
